Mitchell – Computer Science Bsc (Hons)

What are you studying?
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I am on an exchange programme at the University of Worcester though.

How would your friends describe you?
53% water, pop culture aficionado and probably a Ravenclaw.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
Groceries! If I came into that much money at once, I’d like to think that I wouldn’t change my spending patterns much, but save some to pay for college, invest a bit, and set up a scholarship or something.

What do you enjoy most about being a student at Worcester?
As an American, I love being in England and having (relatively) easy access to places I’ve only ever heard about. Even in Worcester, within five minutes of leaving my flat I can see buildings older than my country.

Tell us something unusual about you.
Before coming to Worcester, I had never been more than 400 miles from home (which sounds much less impressive here, but in the U.S. it means I’ve barely been anywhere!)

If you could have any job in the world, what would that be?

I would love to work at a software startup in Silicon Valley or New England.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Once in a while I break out the Johnny Cash…

What is 1 thing that always makes you laugh?

Wheezy Waiter! I drew a lot of inspiration from him when I started making my own YouTube videos.
