Homemade Pizza

I love pizza even though you can’t beat Dominos or Pizza Hut in my opinion, I do prefer Dominos, making your own pizza is a lot of fun and you can choose your own ingredients! Below is how to make my choice of homemade pizza…

Ingredients (from Asda):

Pizza Dough Mix (70p)
Mixed Peppers (99p)
Sliced Chorizo (£1.50)
Cheese (£2.00)
Tomato Puree (45p)
Small bag of plain flour for rolling (40p)

Total of £6.04 which is an absolute bargain for 2 fresh homemade pizzas! You can add whatever toppings you like which may put the price up a little bit!

All you need to do is cut up your toppings if they’re not already sliced and diced and grate your cheese ready to add to the dough and set the oven to 220 degrees or gas mark 7!

Add 100ml to one sachet of pizza mix for one pizza or 200ml to both sachets.

Mix and knead for 5 minutes

Roll out into two pizzas and leave in a warm place covered in oil and cling film to prove for 10 minutes.

Add the tomato puree and all your toppings and pop in the oven for 20 minutes! Or if your toppings need a little longer then however you like your pizza.

Plate up and enjoy!
