4 Things To Do Before Leaving University

It’s finally here, the end of my student life at Worcester. I’ve decided to write some ideas that the third-year students could do before leaving university, I hope you’ll find them useful.

  1. Throw a “Goodbye” Party

There are so many people I probably won’t see again who I’ve seen most days throughout my time at University and there’s no better way to say goodbye than throw a leaving party. Luckily, in my course, we had a Vintage Tea Party at the end of May to say goodbye, including music and stand up from students. It was nice for my whole course to be together for one last time as it felt like we hadn’t done it since freshers’ week in the first year.
  1. Spend time with your friends

Spending time with those you won’t see again is the most important thing to do before leaving university. I have friends in Yorkshire and friends in Essex and it’s likely I’m not going to see these people for a very long time so we’ve planned lots of things to do before we leave. For example, dinner out in Worcester or a picnic on the Malvern Hills.
  2. A Night OutNightOutTrampsA night out with your friends dancing and having fun is a must for those of us leaving the university for good. Celebrating with those people who have become so important to me in the last 3 years is the best way to end my university experience.
  3. Take A Walk Around Worcester
    WalkAroundWorcester

I think before I leave Worcester forever I want to have one last walk around the city, the river and around the University. Feeling like you belong somewhere isn’t easy, but I definitely found it here at Worcester, so I plan to take a long walk round just to take in all the memories I’ve made here and though I’ll be leaving the place behind the memories and people I’ve acquired will definitely be coming with me!
