Cheap Eats in Worcester

Whether or not you’re new to Worcester, finding places to eat and socialise on a student budget can sometimes be challenging. I’m a huge foodie, and I’ve simply refused to give up on eating out. I think going out for food with friends is a very important part of social life (and I won’t miss an opportunity to have something yummy!) Here are my tips on saving money at restaurants and some of my favourite cheap eats in Worcester.

On a casual day or a special occasion, these tips can help you save money and be able to afford to spend some quality time with your friends:

  • NUS extra card / Totum card is great when it comes to student savings in general – you can purchase it in our SU or order it online
  • Unidays is a favourite student app when it comes to discounts – plus it’s free!
  • VoucherCodes always worked for me as their codes are 100 verified
  • Tastecard usually has offers for students which gives them 2for1 offers in many more restaurants around Worcester and other cities
  • It’s definitely worth checking restaurant websites for special offers

Most of the venues mentioned below are chain restaurants and you should be able to use all the vouchers and codes at various locations. However, to support local businesses, try checking the menus or various stickers on doors to find out about student discounts or any deals whilst walking around Worcester.

Wildwood
This restaurant offers 50% off food every day (except Saturday*) if you present a code and your student card. Get the Wildwood Voucher Code.
*always read the terms and conditions

GBK
If you download the GBK app and verify it in the restaurant (you need to do it only for the first time), you get 25% off food on most days if eating in and takeout.

Also, they do lunch deals on working days which usually include a burger and a small side, which cost around £7. Plus if you get the app, you earn some more rewards such as free sides, milkshakes, and burgers.

ASK Italian
On Monday and Tuesday, you can treat yourself with 40% off and 25% off food on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This is my personal favourite when it comes to desserts. Get the ASK Italian voucher code.

Zizzi
You can get 30% off food with Unidays on Monday-Thursday and Sunday. This place is a great option when it comes to food allergies and intolerances as they do many options including vegan. Get the Zizzi voucher code.

Pizza Express
If you have NUS extra card, you’re eligible for 30% off food and drink from Sunday to Thursday. The discount applies for the whole table of up to 6 people. Get the Pizza Express voucher code.

Wayland’s Yard
With your student ID, you can get 10% off both food and drinks – this is a perfect place for a catch up with friends on a brunch.
