Making the most out of the Worcester community.
As much as I love student life within the university, I love to go outside and do stuff within the Worcester community.
I came to Worcester because I knew I wanted to do both English Language and Drama.
1. Diversity
Like Big Brother, you get to stay in an accommodation with people that are completely different from. Not always. But it is pretty likely.
You’ve all heard of the stereotypical drama geek at high school – The kid who generates exuberant eccentricity, the kid who has an overactive imagination and – of course – the kid who has a flair for le théâtre.
You’re going to uni, or you’re at uni and you play an instrument – Why not join a band?
I did.
I tell them that next year, I’ve got the choice of doing the standard individual research project or a final performance.
When I say this to people, they automatically reply with ‘I HATE you!’
Us English have a stereotype of visiting non-English speaking countries and nonchalantly speaking English, if they don’t understand us, WE SPEAK EVEN LOUDER until they magically learn our language by our increased vocals.
