We’re here again – it’s coming up to assignment deadline time. At this time of year everyone’s realising that they can no longer put off those three 3000 word essays and actually need to crack on! The main thing to make sure you survive deadline time is PLANNING! Here are a few tips on staying calm whilst getting all the work done.
By doing a degree, you get very focused on your own subject and sort of forget that any other subjects exist! Recently, I spoke to an old school friend who’s brother has just started University and is doing a Business and Football Management degree.
When you move out of your family home and into your own flat/house with your flatmates one of the biggest things to change is chores. You may have done cleaning or chores at home with your family, but most families share the jobs out; but when you’re at university, nobody else is going to do it for you!

After you’ve finished your undergraduate degree, there are many different routes you can take from going straight into work to having a year out. The one I chose was to go straight into a postgraduate teaching degree the same year.
When you ask children what they want to be when they’re older you usually get the full range from ballerina to astronaut, but I have always answered “teacher”.
