I was awarded an Academic Scholarship!!!
I’ve decided writing about the Academic Scholarship event – a little late, but I think it’s an important event to blog about! In September, I was sent a letter awarding me with a University of Worcester Scholarship for Academic Achievement. I knew I had done well in my 2nd year but was still shocked to say the least.
Count those pennies!
So you just started university, you have some money in your pocket – savings, parents being generous, maintanance grant…but how do you make it last? Here are my tips!
B is for Budgeting
Moving in to University, the temptation to go out every night and treat yourself to a new pair of shoes or a brand new game with you loan is hard to resist. But do. This will sound like the kind of nagging speech, the kind the parents give. But from one student to another, I have been there with no money and it’s not fun.
