In the first few weeks of first year, all I wanted to buy was a University Hoody. It was the first time I ever had proper control over my own money, in the form of my student loan, and the first purchase I made with my loan was that hoody, and I have worn it hundreds of times in my three years at uni!
On Sunday the 23rd of February I went along to Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair held at Worcester Guildhall after seeing loads of flyers and invites on Facebook. If you’ve read my post Dedicated Follower of Fashion, you’ll know that vintage/second-hand clothes are right up my street and so I’d had it planned for a while that I’d be going.
I like buying clothes, in fact I love buying clothes! Being a student and having an NUS card (you can buy one from the students’union for £12) means we have 10% discounts for so many high street and online stores at the flash of a piece of plastic.
So, you’ve moved into halls or your uni house and you’ve made new friends but you’re new to the area so you don’t know what to do. There are lots of things you can do in Worcester with your new uni friends! Here are a few things you can do whilst you’re here.
