So you just started university, you have some money in your pocket – savings, parents being generous, maintanance grant…but how do you make it last? Here are my tips!
As we head towards the beginning of the academic year, I can’t help but wonder what it’s going to bring. And this reflection often goes towards the amazing times I’ve already had here and the choices I’ve made that lead towards those experiences.
The lovely time of packing for university. Books, clothes, and a few pairs of shoes.. oh, no! I forgot the toothpaste! Does that sound familiar?
So, you’ve got your place at university and you now have to actually get ready to go. The time from mid august when you get your results to mid September when you have to start uni will go SO fast, so don’t put off things that need to be done for ‘another time’.
People always say that when at uni you make some friends that will stick with you for life. Uni is a very sociable time where you go out lots, join clubs and societies, meet new people and form new friendships so it’s more than likely that you meet some people that you really click with.
It’s this time of the year that all of you, who are now applying to universities, probably are a bit worried about your results – whether you’ve made it, or you didn’t perform that well…
