When you’re at uni your food changes, you start eating a lot of pasta… and more pasta. However exotic the sweet and sourchicken ready meal sounds, it is still a ready meal.

When I moved to University my major concern was missing home. I’m an independent person, but I am a proper family girl and enjoy spending time at home. The first few weeks of University was very hard but a few things made it easier and hopefully they will help you when you move out!
We all know the myth according to which students live on pizza, chicken nuggets and beans on toast. Oh, and let’s not forget, coffee. Like all myths, there is a seed of truth in there. Yes, we are famous for not eating “properly”, but we can’t afford to gear our fridge like Nigella and cooking a roast dinner for one… Doesn’t really make sense, does it?
It is amazing what you can do with a white shirt, some felts and paint. Through the many different themed socials at university I have mastered many a costume starting with a white shirt. A Clown Shirt, Snowmen, Army and Zombie are just a few to name.
