What are you studying?

BA Hons Journalism

How would your friends describe you?

I think my friends would say I’m a bit of a geek and that I sometimes ask too many questions. I hope they would describe me as reliable and loyal because they can always count on me, but also pretty straight forward.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

I’d surely buy a couple of houses around the world, but I’d focus more on what I could create: for starters, a news corporation and then a publishing house and probably a NGO.

What do you enjoy most about being a student in Worcester?

I love being a student in Worcester particularly because the town offers the perfect balance between having an active social life and being able to focus on my studies. We have enough places to hang out, go clubbing or have brunch but, at the same time, there isn’t that distraction and pressure of going out every night characteristic of big cities.

Tell us something unusual about you.

I always end up watching horror movies after 1am, I think jam and cheese is an awesome combo and I’ve been in two car accidents within an hour – it wasn’t my fault in either.

If you could have any job in the world, what would that be?

I would be a reporter for the New York Times.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

I consider clothes and popular fiction to be my guilty pleasures. I don’t think I feel as bad as I should for buying too many stuff especially because I understand what consumerism is all about. However, I can’t help feeling happy whenever I make a purchase. And as much as I love Orwell, I always seem to end up in bed with Agatha Christie or Stephen King.

What is 1 thing that always makes you laugh?

Friends: If I’m ever in a bad mood, I just pick a random episode – it’s guaranteed to cheer me up.
