December is here and with Christmas fast approaching, we’re starting to remember how expensive this month really is! You’ll be spending some serious cash over the next few weeks, on Christmas presents and festivities. It’s important to set aside money for this and budget so you’re not broke by January! In preparation for the festive period, here are some useful tips on how to save money at university.
Before you start university, you will have people throwing advice at you about how to handle student life. The advice comes from all sorts of people; parents, older siblings, cousins and friends.The problem is not all advice is good.
Since graduating from uni as a mature student, I often reflect on my decision to return to education. I was worried that I wouldn’t gain as much from the experience as I would have if I had gone at the ‘right time’. I couldn’t have been more wrong!!!
Everyone loves a bargain, especially students who are on a budget. Luckily, student deals are nearly everywhere, which, for those like me (who love saving money), makes a huge difference to the final total.
