Welcome to your first academic week at uni! University lectures are completely different to sixth form classes. It can be quite a shock going into a lecture for the first time not knowing what to expect. This post will give you an idea of what to expect from your first week of lectures, so they’ll feel less daunting. I’ll also be sharing my experiences of first year lectures, and a few tips on making the most of your classes.
When thinking about my time at University, I want to make the absolute most of the experience. For me, first year was a learning curve and there were times that were definitely less successful than others.
I always strive to better myself both academically and personally, so as a result I thought I would comprise a ‘bucket list’ of things that I want to improve, achieve or experience this year.
Being organised, attending classes, writing assignments and spending hours in library doing research can be hard, but not as hard as getting back to all this after those long summer months.
