student budget friendly banana pancakes

Hi everyone! It’s me, Lotta, again with another budget-friendly recipe for students. This time, I’ll show you a DELICIOUS banana pancake recipe that only takes less than 15min to make and costs around £2! You’ll only need bananas, eggs, oats, baking powder, vanilla extract or vanilla sugar, cinnamon (optional but very nice addition!), and all your favourite toppings.

Let’s get baking!

Serves: 6 smaller pancakes
Time: 15mins
Cost:
Less than £3 (Aldi)*
*Without baking powder, vanilla, and cinnamon. Includes pack of 6 eggs and 2 bananas

What do you need?

  1. Mix the eggs, oats, baking powder, vanilla, and cinnamon together.
  2. Add mashed the bananas to the mix.
  1. Mix well!
  2. Let it sit for 5min
  3. Heat up your pan on medium heat (I had 9 settings on my oven, and I used a 6)
  4. Cook your pancakes!

Top tips: Cinnamon is amazing addition to the dough, and if you want to be extra, add some blueberries there too!

I hope you enjoyed the recipe! You can check it on University of Worcester TikTok too 😉
