Hey, my name is Gemma. I am a student at the University of Worcester, studying Physical Education and Outdoor Education.
In Psychology there are many interesting theories and pieces of research that have been conducted to understand the human mind and behaviour. However, sometimes these can be overemphasised and end up as myths. But exactly what is fact and what is fiction?
Our Foundation student Gemma has had a great student journey and she is sharing it with us below:
Gaynor Corrick, FdA Early Childhood student at Hereford and Ludlow College shares her experience on the course.
At university, students are given a reading list full of wonderfully different text books, but to me there are 5 books that you should indulge yourself into if you want to feel a little more cultured and more ahead of the rest:
“You’re doing Drama then, eh? So I’m gonna see you on the box in a few years!”
If I had a penny for every time I heard that one, I could actually pay off my student loan…
Life as a primary PGCE student can be summed up in one word… busy. Don’t get me wrong I love what I’m doing but it is the busiest thing I have ever had to do – guess it’ll just make it more worthwhile at the end of it!
What skills could you possibly grasp with Drama besides dressing up in the opposite gender and doing different accents?
