I think the scariest thing about going to uni is knowing what to do when it all inevitably comes to an end. Do you apply for postgraduate study? Graduate schemes? Get a job? It’s a tough decision but there are plenty of options out there. Here are my tips to make life after university a bit less daunting.
I cannot believe I am writing this second blog knowing I fly home in under 7 weeks! It’s crazy to think I have already been here in the US for 10 weeks. I have to say, the American food has definitely won me over – it’s amazing!
It’s nearly summer! I don’t know about you but right now, with all of the exam preparation and assignments going on, summer seems like a long way away. Fear not, we are on the home straight and we can start making some summer plans!
Excitement, happiness, satisfaction, joy are just a few words that can describe the feeling you get when you find out you were accepted into the university you wanted to study at.
The first thing that hits me when I get off the plane is the lovely rain, dull sky, and the oh-so-refreshing wind that nearly sweeps me off my feet. I have no idea which way I’m going, but I listen to my instinct and follow the herd. Everybody seems to rush to a little train. We travel for about five minutes, then we all get off and go to pick up our cases.
