The fastest racket sport in the world, with a whole encyclopedia of shots, tactics and methods is a wonderful form of exercise. Here, at Worcester, our social goal is “creating the next generation of superstars”; regardless of your ability, there’s always room for you.
Joining a society or a club should be high on your list of things to do when you arrive at Worcester. It gives you a chance to meet like-minded people and feel involved in the University.
I am normally a very happy energetic person, but one thing that really makes me sad is that I am no longer part of a sports society, having finished university.
You learn a lot from going to university. Some people learn how to cook, clean, make friends, get up early and study, but for me I learnt a few lessons for life. So, here at the 4 lessons I learnt at University.
Whilst at university, I joined the University of Worcester Netball Society and really loved being part of it. I highly recommend that anyone who goes to university joins a sport or society!
One thing about university is that you’ll constantly do things you never thought you would.
Firstly, our society is for all walks of life and beliefs. Atheist, agnostic and of course Christian/Catholics are all welcomed.
