As all us students know well the months from October to December can be a squeeze on the bank balance. There’s bonfire night on the 5th November and of course Christmas (only 57 days to go!) but first of all comes the celebration of Halloween.

As much as I love student life within the university, I love to go outside and do stuff within the Worcester community.
I don’t think you have to have either an academic life or a social one. I will however admit that this seems to be the case most of the time. Students find themselves either at one end of the spectrum, or the other. So how do you position yourself smack-bang in the middle?
Social outings to bars and clubs can often be considered a big part of student life, but if you’ve never been before then it’s nice to get a good idea of what it will be like!
I don’t want to brag with my amazing going out skills, but I have to admit I sometimes feel a bit down when it’s so cold outside that I don’t want to get even my nose out the door, let alone my whole body.
